The Eastvale STEM Academy at Eleanor Roosevelt High School in the Corona Norco Unified School District is a school within a school that provides the Eastvale community youth opportunities in Career Technical Education (CTE) with state-of-the-art laboratories and curriculum. Our CTE classes include Biotechnology, Patient Care, Systems Programming, and Product Innovation & Design. The builiding is also home to core curriculum classes such as english language art, math, government, history, spanish, and various sciences.

The Eastvale STEM Academy is known for the cutting-edge 4-year eSTEM Program that offers a rigorous curriculum for students interested in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields. Students choose from one of our three pathways: medical, engineering or computer science. Each pathway has opportunities for students to participate in our modern, industry standard labs where they receive technical and occupational knowledge in our Career Technical Education (CTE) classes. Students may graduate with certificates such as AutoCAD, OSHA 30, and Medical Assisting upon pathway completion. Students will also develop their research skills through a Science and Engineering Research Project that is supported through our core curriculum and elective classes throughout their program. Students can expect a highly supportive environment that integrates inquiry, problem solving, collaboration and innovation in an interdisciplinary approach (thorughout all their courses).

The eSTEM Team prides ourselves on our three founding principles: Access, Collaboration, and Partnership. We believe all students should have access to our eSTEM program which is why the only prerequisite to apply for our lottery is a passion for STEM and commitment to the program. Collaboration is encouraged at all levels: students to students, staff to staff, school and district to industries and educational institutions. We encourage our students to participate in student organizations such as athletics, band and/or eSTEM student clubs such as HOSA, Girls Who Code, Maker Club, Robotics Club to develop their collaborative, leadership and technical skills. Finally, exposure to industry and experts is critical for student real-world knowledge development so we create partnerships to organize field trips, speakers and enrichment opportunities for our eSTEM program students. Through our partnership with Norco Community College, students are able to participate in Dual/Concurrent Enrollment.
